CRISPR and other genome editing technologies have escalated our potential to eradicate diseases, transform agricultural industry, and make leaps forward in environmental and life sciences. As these tools develop and their applications rise, they will play an even greater role in the lives of younger generations. CLEAR in the Classroom brings graduate researchers to young students to inform them of the past and present of genetic engineering, and engage them in ethical discussion of this technology’s future.
